MOTW Tottenham Hotspur versus Manchester City line-ups

Tottenham Hotspur
Hugo Lloris, Kieran Trippier, Davinson Sanchez, Jan Vertonghen, Ben Davies, Eric Dier, Moussa Dembele, Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela and Harry Kane.

Manchester City
Ederson, Kyle Walker, Vincent Kompany, Aymeric Laporte, Fabian Delph, Kevin de Bruyne, Fernandinho, Ilkay Gundogan, David Silva, Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sane and Gabriel Jesus.

Just like in the previous two matches, Manchester City started the match really well. They dominated from the start and Spurs didn’t had the time to come in their own game. Gabriel Jesus was the one who scored the well deserved opening goal of the match. Three minutes later it was Gundogan with the 0-2 from the penalty spot. The most interesting part of this match started at the end of the first half when Eriksen scored a goal for Tottenham. This was the time we got to see if Man City collapsed like they did against Man United and Liverpool. They obviously used the 15 minutes at half-time in the right way. From the start of the second half  Man City was back like their old selves. Raheem Sterling scored the 1-3 and the game was in the pocket for Man City.

After this result Man United helped their neighbours in a shock performance against West Bromwich Albion. The away team won this match, so Manchester City is now officially the 2017-2018 Premier League champions.
